【DJ KEKKE】BIOGRAPHY
DJ KEKKEは絶対的な現場主義者だ。
彼がプレーする現場はナイトクラブを主に、大型フェス、ブランドレセプション等、年間400本を優に超える。
アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジア等を勢力的に飛び回る傍、LADY GAGAやNE-YOなどのメジャーアーティストから、
A$AP ROCKY、A$AP FERG、FUTURE、WIZ KHALIFA、ICE CUBE、YG、SKEPTA、JUICE WRLDをはじめとする
世界的なHIPHOPアーティストのオープニングアクトを務め、俗に言う”外タレ”が来日した際のLIVE直前の重要な時間は必ずと言ってもいい程、まず一番に彼に声が掛かる。クラブやイベントオーガナイザーからの信頼は絶大な物があるのだ。
2017年からは1日平均20万人が視聴するインターネットテレビ局「AbemaTV」のHIPHOPチャンネル”AbemaMix”のMixerを担当。
2018年、2019年と2年連続で世界最大級のダンスミュージックフェスの一つである「ULTRA JAPAN」や「EDC JAPAN」のメインステージにHIPHOP DJとしては異例の出演も果たしている。
また、自身のクラブDJ以外の他に、LDH JAPAN / Def Jam Recordings「SWAY」のオフィシャルDJも務めており、
オーバーグラウンドとアンダーグラウンドを常に行き来する日本のクラブミュージックの発展のキーパーソン的な存在となっている。
そして記憶にも新しい2019年末には、自身初となるワンマンDJが開催され、オープンからラストまで420分を一人でDJし、雨の日曜日の渋谷に駆けつけた500人以上のオーディエンスを終始沸かせ、クラブシーンに残る伝説の一夜を作り上げた。
同年、block.fmの人気HIPHOP番組”Inside Out”にて「DJ of the year」を獲得し、名実ともに日本のTOP DJとして君臨し続けている。
— BIOGRAPHY —
DJ KEKKE is an absolute field man.
He plays more than 400 shows a year, mainly in nightclubs, large festivals, and brand receptions.
He has been the opening act for many of the world’s leading hiphop artists, including A$AP ROCKY, A$AP FERG,
FUTURE, WIZ KHALIFA, ICE CUBE, YG, SKEPTA, and JUICE WRLD. He is trusted immensely by clubs and event organizers.
Since 2017, he has been the mixer for the HIPHOP channel “AbemaMix” on AbemaTV, an internet TV station with an average of 200,000 viewers per day.
In 2018 and 2019, he has performed on the main stage of “ULTRA JAPAN” and “EDC JAPAN”,
one of the worlds largest dance music festivals, for two consecutive years, which is an unprecedented feat for a HIPHOP DJ.
In addition to his own club DJing, he is also the official DJ for LDH JAPAN / Def Jam Recordings “SWAY” and has become a key figure in the development of club music in Japan, constantly moving back and forth between the overground and underground.
At the end of 2019, he held his first one-man DJ event, DJing alone for 420 minutes from the opening to the end, wowing the audience of over 500 people on a rainy Sunday in Shibuya, and creating a legendary night in the club scene.
In the same year, he won the “DJ of the year” award on block.fms popular HIPHOP program “Inside Out”, and continues to reign as one of Japans top DJs in both name and reality.
